Project Linus is a 100% volunteer organization with a mission to provide a sense of comfort to children who are seriously ill or traumatized through the gifts of new, handmade blankets or afghans, crafted by volunteer “blanketeers.” All blankets donated to our local chapter of this nation-wide organization are given to seriously ill or traumatized children in our area. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute something special to children in need.
No sewing skills are required. There is a job for everyone and every skill level. You can spend any amount of time with us. Please consider making your favorite pot luck dish and joining us for this special day to create warmth for those in need. Contact Becky Stecher (693-2582), Janice Ladehoff (693-2464) or June Vogltance (693-2230) for more information.
